Perfect Steak Marinade
Summer grilling is in full effect and this is an easy and delicious marinade for most cuts of steak. I love using flank since it's one of the leanest cuts, but skirt steak is always a nice treat as well!
Obviously the longer you marinate the more flavorful the meat will be, but marinate for no less than 6 hours!
Ingredients:
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/3 cup vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. In a shallow long dish add the steak and top with garlic and onions.
2. In a bowl mix Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and oil until well blended. Pour evenly over steak then season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate flipping the steak over halfway through. Steak is best if marinated overnight.
3. Bring the steaks to room temperature before grilling on med heat for 6-12 minutes.
